1. No holiday for me. Instead, I'll be selling holidays to Dunedin people, especially holidays to the Pacific Islands and Australia's Gold Coast, which are always popular in winter. Bookings for Europe, particularly France and Spain, have been really strong.

2. Booking other people's holidays is the next best thing to going yourself and I am "sending" some of my friends on a honeymoon to the Maldives.

3. I'll be recommending my favourite international destination - Vietnam - to anyone wanting a beach experience, but also with cultural and heritage attractions. My must-see New Zealand destinations include Stewart Island, the West Coast, the Catlins, Martinborough, Taupo and the Coromandel.

4. I'm planning on travelling to Samoa for a week as part of my job next year and also to Africa in the next few years. These trips will add to the 22 countries I have already visited. I want to have travelled to 100 countries by the time I'm 55.

5. When travelling there are three things I always pack: a money pouch, insurance and a pre-paid money card, which allows secure access to your money overseas.
