Ask a Chef reveals the secrets of those superb dishes you ate in cafes and restaurants and wanted to try yourself.

 

The Coffee Post Green Island chocolate brownie

Ingredients

6 eggs
2 cups soft brown sugar
800g dark chocolate, melted
250g butter, melted
1 cup flour, sifted
½ cup cocoa, sifted
200g white chocolate chips
200g dark chocolate chips 

 

Method

Heat oven to 160degC.

Grease and line a large brownie tin (40cm by 30cm).

Beat eggs and sugar together until well incorporated.

Add melted chocolate and butter and beat.

Fold in flour and cocoa.

Fold in chocolate chips.

Pour into prepared tin and bake for 45min - centre will still be gooey.

Leave to set, then cut.
