North Otago Garden Club meets in the Foundation for the Blind hall, Steward St, at 7.30pm.
''Grazing in the flower beds'' is the topic of guest speaker Kay Edwards. Flower and vegetable of the month is a leucadendron, three potatoes and three leeks.
Tuesday, June 3
Brockville Garden Club will meet in the Community Church Hall at 1.30pm. Guest speaker is Jelte Buddingh from Omnitree, who will talk about trees and how to care for them. Afternoon tea, sales table and raffle to follow. New members welcome.
Wednesday, June 4
To complement the ''Heritage Lost and Found: Our Changing Cityscape'' exhibition, showing in Otago Museum's H D Skinner Annex, the museum is offering a number of free presentations led by local experts. The first of these is ''Hardwicke Knight: Father of Dunedin's architectural history'', to be presented by Knight biographer Meg Davidson, on June 4 at 12.30pm in the Barclay Theatre.
