Gaye Davies is Dunedin Physiotherapy Pool's supervisor.

What is one strong childhood memory?

Learning to swim at Moana Pool, aged 7, and later being coached by Duncan Laing.

What is your message?

The physio pool is a precious little gem that we are lucky to have in our city for our community. I love seeing people benefit from using the pool, from babies to the elderly and every age in between.

If you were going to an island and could take only three things, what would they be and why?

I would take a large tarpaulin, a good big book and a musical instrument, but not a ukulele.

What's something only your family knows about you?

I don't know of anything my family know that no-one else knows. There are a few things my family don't know that some of my friends know. I can't possibly say what they are because then everyone would know.

You are a new addition to the crayon box. What colour are you, and why?

Aubergine. I love aubergines for their colour and shape, and to eat, of course.
