A 46-year-old Dunedin man has been arrested after he allegedly groped a young woman in North Dunedin.
The 20-year-old victim was walking down Clyde St with her boyfriend at 2am yesterday when the man, walking the opposite direction, turned around and "grabbed and squeezed" her buttock, Sergeant Matt Lee said.
He carried on walking in the opposite direction. The woman’s boyfriend called emergency services and followed him until police arrived.
The man will appear in the Dunedin District Court charged with indecently assaulting a female. — Allied Media
