Police arrested two men who allegedly broke in to the Dunedin Rugby Club and stole alcohol on Friday night.
The break-in was reported to police just after 9.30pm and the pair were caught in a vehicle near Oxford St about 10.10pm, Southern deployment co› ordinator Senior Sergeant Craig Brown, of Dunedin, said.
A 27-year-old man was charged with burglary, driving while disqualified and driving with excess breath-alcohol, and a 25-year-old man was charged with burglary, Snr Sgt Brown said.
They are due to appear in the Dunedin District Court on Friday.
