Backing hoiho

Te Tautiaki Hoiho Yellow-eyed Penguin Trust general manager Anna Campbell (left) and programme co-ordinator-researcher Wenna Yeo are hoping the endangered seabird’s outlook improves amid a wave of support for the species in Dunedin, as the trust’s annual symposium brings together about 80 experts and advocates at Tūhura Otago Museum today.

Mrs Campbell said this year’s symposium would be different from years past as it took on a "workshop" format.
