Dunedin Police are investigating the cause of a crash at a busy Green Island intersection.
A police spokeswoman said a car crashed into the wall of the underpass beneath State Highway 1, near Westland St, in Green Island, about 5am today.
The road was partially blocked, but has since been cleared.
No injuries were reported.
Police inquiries are continuing, she said.
