Two people escaped with minor injuries when their car went out of control and hit a traffic light pole in North Dunedin this evening.
Emergency services were called out shortly before 7pm to the corner of Warrender and George Sts, where the driver of a Kia Rio lost control, apparently after braking in the wet conditions.
The car's two occupants escaped with minor injuries but the car received frontal damage and had to be towed away, a police spokeswoman said.
