Christmas tree in Octagon to be lit on Saturday

Jake Szostak, of Network Visuals, puts the finishing touches to the Octagon Christmas tree yesterday afternoon.

Dunedin City Council contractors are erecting and decorating the tree this week, which will remain up in the lower part of the Octagon until just before New Year's Eve.

I'm actually very surprised that the DCC are calling this a xmas tree, was expecting it to be called a non denominational holiday season festive ornament.

The woke green pc brigade must be a little busy wrecking the city in other ways..

Surely, you will have goodwill next month. All we want for Christmas is no snippy ideology.
