'Agitated' man arrested over property damage

A man has been arrested after allegedly damaging a property in Dunedin today.

A police spokeswoman said the "agitated" 34-year-old was causing damage at a residential property in Andersons Bay.

The man has been charged with wilful damage.

He was due to appear in court next week, she said. 

A witness said at least seven police cars were at the scene today.
