Two people in a car full of allegedly stolen goods were arrested by Dunedin police on Wednesday.
Senior Sergeant Anthony Bond, of Dunedin, said police located a vehicle parked up in Middleton Rd at 9pm which contained two occupants sought by police.
The occupants were a 58-year-old woman police had been seeking in relation to a spree of shoplifting offences across Dunedin, Invercargill and Christchurch, and a 47-year-old man who had been sought over a stolen motor vehicle from Christchurch.
The woman was charged with three counts of shoplifting and more charges were likely.
The man was charged with receiving stolen goods.
Both will appear in Dunedin District Court this morning.
