Arrest after altercation at Countdown carpark

A person has been taken into custody after an altercation at the Countdown carpark in central Dunedin.

A police spokeswoman said officers responded to a report of altercation between two people in a carpark on Cumberland St at about 11am.

One person was taken into custody.

There did not appear to have been any injuries, she said.
