A drunk driver allegedly crashed into two fences and two parked cars in Dunedin at the weekend.
Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen, of Dunedin, said the 20-year-old was driving at speed and in wet conditions in City Rd when he crashed into the fences of two separate properties as well as two parked cars.
He recorded a breath-alcohol reading after the crash of 508mcg/l, more than twice the legal limit, Snr Sgt Dinnissen said.
The man is set to appear in the Dunedin District Court next Thursday.
