Thieves target Otago Peninsula tourist operation

An Otago Peninsula tourism operation has been plundered for hundreds of dollars worth of stock.

Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen, of Dunedin, said an office window at Natures Wonders in Harington Point Rd was forced open and $350 worth of stock was taken.

No arrests have been made but police were following positive lines of inquiry, Snr Sgt Dinnissen said.

Natures Wonders is an eco tourism wildlife sanctuary at Taiaroa Head on the Otago Peninsula.
