A fuel spill has closed part of Dunedin's Three Mile Hill Rd after a car crash this afternoon.
Traffic control is in place between Silverstream Valley Rd and Halfway Bush Rd.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said crews from Roslyn and Willowbank responded to a single-car crash at 1pm today.
While there was no one trapped and no injuries, a significant amount of fuel spill had been spilt.
A police spokesman said the southbound lane had been blocked by the spill and road had been restricted to one lane while the surface was gritted.
Emergency services also responded to a separate single vehicle crash on Three Mile Hill Rd at 11.30am today. No injuries were reported.
