Full steam ahead

Mike Harrison, of Christchurch, drives an electric train yesterday with passengers William, 3, Laura and Tim Bennison during the Otago Model Engineering Society’s annual exhibition at the weekend.

The society is exhibiting models made by its members, including steam engines and boats. 

There are "you drive" trains available for children and adults to try.

The exhibition is at the society’s  clubrooms in John Wilson Ocean Dr in St Kilda. 

The exhibition finishes tomorrow.
