Kara-Lee Kake, 11, gets her face painted by Piata Face Painting artist Lynette Shelford yesterday at the inaugural Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Family Fun Day, at Wakari Scout Hall, hosted by MS Otago to mark multiple sclerosis awareness week.

MS Otago community connector Katie Burns said the day was about making the community more knowledgeable about what MS was, and also raising money.

MS Otago conducted group meetings, home visits and provided support and education for people with MS, and their families.
