The future of Dunedin-based Botry-Zen and the biotech company's factory remains unknown.
Receiver Matt Taylor, of WHK, yesterday declined to discuss aspects of the receivership, including the level of secured and unsecured debt and an update on how the sale of the company was progressing.
The company was placed in receivership in late December after shareholders twice in 15 months refused to inject new capital.
The Botry-Zen board resigned yesterday morning, saying it had co-operated with the receivers but it believed it had no further role to play.
The board also said there were unlikely to be any assets remaining once the receivers completed their work, so there was little more for them to do.
