The event continues to grow, with hundreds of Dunedin music lovers heading to the Fea St, Dalmore, flat this year.
Organiser Steve Marshall said the event had attracted a large following.
''The same people come back each year, because they know they are in for a great day and it's accessible because it's in town.''
It was a ''showcase'' for what was going on in Dunedin music.
The mini-festival at the flat went from 1pm to 7pm on Saturday, with the party continuing at ReFuel into the evening.
Mr Marshall said they made sure the neighbours were aware of what was happening.
''The neighbours all come on board. It's a good buzz all round, really.''
He hoped the festival would continue for at least a few more years.
''Not all of us are living there any more, but we will do it as long as we are still in Dunedin.''
Dinosaur Sanctuary lead singer Kane Strang, after playing his first set at Feastock, said it was great having ''a whole day and a night dedicated to Dunedin music.
''If it wasn't for this, Dunedin wouldn't have any kind of music festival all year.''
