House, fence damaged in crash

A car crashed through a fence and badly damaged a house in Dunedin this afternoon, police say.

A police spokeswoman said the crash in Chapman St, Wakari, was reported to police shortly after 4.30pm today.

It was believed the house was empty, she said.

The road was not blocked.

There were no reports of injury.

No information was available on the cause of crash, she said.
