The Dunedin City Council was asking visitors to be patient while the weighbridge underwent maintenance.
Waste minimisation supervisor Catherine Gledhill said full on-site traffic diversions would be in place from today to ensure landfill, recycling and Rummage store operations continued as smoothly as possible.
"We’re aware there may be delays while we process customers and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
From this morning people would be able to visit the Rummage store and drop off recycling without needing to go via the weighbridge.
