Little sign of cup fever

The America’s Cup experience in Dunedin was more puddle than ocean yesterday, as rain kept fans away from the Emirates Team New Zealand Fan Zone in the Octagon.

At the beginning of the race, only two race enthusiasts stood watching the big screen.

The fan zones are operating on racing days between 3pm and 8pm and screen racing live.

There is also a fan zone in Oamaru at the North Otago Yacht and Power Boat Club and at SkyCity in Queenstown.
