Masonry falls from roof of former police station

A 2m section of masonry has fallen from the former Dunedin Police Station.

The masonry has fallen from the roof cornice on Castle St to the street below.

No-one was in the building when it was visited by the Otago Daily Times and all doors were locked.

The category 2-listed heritage building was originally built in 1895.
