Missing man found safe and well

A man earlier thought to be missing somewhere in the lower South Island has been found safe and well.

Police had concerns for Allan Wilson Kerr (48), after a phone call yesterday in which he sounded unwell.

In the call Mr Kerr indicated he was somewhere around North Otago or Dunedin, and police were focusing their inquiries on an area from Timaru to Balclutha.

Concerns were allayed this afternoon when Mr Kerr turned up at a police station in Mosgiel, a spokesman said
