An 18-year-old woman missing from her Mosgiel home for the past three days has been found safe and well.
Clutha Taieri Area response manager Senior Sergeant Alastair Dickie said police became concerned for Luana Mowat's safety, after she failed to contact her family for several days, which was ''out of character''.
Miss Mowat had a mental age of about 11 or 12, which gave police greater cause for concern, Snr Sgt Dickie said.
She was found this morning in Dunedin.
''There was nothing sinister in her disappearance,'' Snr Sgt Dickie said said.
