The Ashburton County Scottish Society Pipe Band marches into the competition zone at North Ground yesterday.

The pipes were calling Dunedin residents at the weekend as pipe bands from Christchurch south battled it out at the Otago/Southland Pipe Band Championships.
On Saturday, 14 bands competed in the Octagon and yesterday they were at it again at North Ground.
