Notable moment in the Octagon

Westlake Boys’ High School student Constatine Mataafa, 17, practises for the Big Sing finale in the Octagon yesterday.

The premier secondary schools’ choral competition returned to Dunedin for the first time since 2019.

The top 24 secondary school choirs from around the country were in Dunedin to compete.

The Big Sing concludes tonight in the Dunedin Town Hall.
