Mrs Farrell said they had all been waiting as patiently as possible for their favourite park to reopen. They were all pleased with the outcome.
‘‘We’re like a family that play tennis, skateboard and bike, so we often come here to do all three.’’
She said the new skateboarding facilities and the new, upgraded playground were great. The upgrades meant there were now a new tube slide, a swing set, monkey bars, a dynamic beam, climbing nets and a new walking see-saw.
