New principal takes reins at John McGlashan

John McGlashan College’s new principal Dr Aaron Columbus was welcomed to the Dunedin boys’ school with a full assembly yesterday and used the first day to find his feet and get familiar with the inner workings of the school.

The former Wellington College deputy principal grew up in Central Otago and said he had "a clear vision" for the future of the school with "a deep history".

"It’s an opportunity to lead it into its next chapter and build on the work done by those who have come before me."
