Project on a firm footing

McMillian Drilling senior driller Brian McMahon carries a sample extracted from the site of the Dowling St car park, where the new Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) building will be constructed.

A Ngai Tahu spokesman said geotechnical testing was in progress and would finish next week.

Design work for the building continued, he said.

ACC would lease the building from Ngai Tahu for 20 years following its completion in 2024.
