Of 30 holiday sessions offered, 12 were booked out to the maximum of 30 children, and the remainder had bookings in the mid to high-20s, museum director Dr Ian Griffin said in a recent report.
These supervised activities are for children aged 5 to 12.
•The first set of ''visual alterations'' has been completed at the Otago Museum's Southern Land, Southern People gallery.
This work included reconfiguring the entrance layout and simplifying interpretation and display, Dr Griffin said.
A wall had also been removed to give the moa display more ''visual impact'', he said in the report.
