Sharing the bay

    The railway line at Sawyers Bay is being realigned to accommodate the new shared path in the area.The work is mostly taking place at the weekend, and on some Mondays and Tuesdays, to cause the least disruption to rail traffic. Delays for road traffic are expected over the next four weekends.

    Funny how the Greens DCC can justify the destruction of a bit of foreshore when the cause is a bike track. Try to do the same for any other purpose and they would be up in arms.

    Bike tracks everywhere. Truly a dystopian nightmare for some it seems.
