While this young baby has six nanas, they insist there is no competition among them as to who gives the best presents.

Five generations of one family gathered in Mosgiel at the weekend for a reunion of sorts.

Reagan Martin and 12-week-old baby Zoe, came from Ashburton to spend time with Mr Martin’s mother Raewyn Martin in Owaka.

However, they would not have made it to Dunedin without Mr Martin’s grandmother Linda Brown collecting them all.

They, along with Mrs Brown’s mother Ann Oliver and a host of other family members, spent quality time together, including at family dinners, over the weekend.

Mrs Brown said it was the first time the five generations had all come together.

"We thought them coming for a holiday would be a good opportunity."

There were many similarities through the generations, especially in looks, she said.

However, everyone had "whole different personalities."

"Raewyn is very calm and collected, doesn’t get rattled. Yeah, I do occasionally."

Being a great grandmother made her feel old, she said.

Zoe has six nanas, which would likely mean many birthday presents.

There would be no competition in that area, Mrs Brown said.

"It’s just who gives the best cuddles."
