Spraying to keep weeds at bay

Contractors were busy spraying weeds along the footpath in London St this week. The Dunedin City Council uses a range of methods to control different weeds in different environments.

One of the methods is using the herbicide glyphosate (Roundup). It also uses Tordon Brushkiller for noxious weeds on road reserves.
