Two surfers pulled a pair of struggling swimmers from a rip in the St Kilda surf.
Police were called to St Kilda beach at 7.20pm on Thursday after two swimmers got into trouble.
Two men were seen struggling to get back to shore and police were called, along with Surf Life Saving New Zealand and Hato Hone St John.
While emergency services responded, two surfers managed to get the two men get back to shore, Sergeant Matt Lee said.
There were no reported injuries and the two men declined medical treatment. — APL
