Three more Greater Dunedin candidates

Greater Dunedin has added three new names to its ticket for the October Dunedin City Council elections, bringing its team to nine.

The three are Lindsay Smith, the business manager for Dunedin's Ashburn Clinic, Jinty MacTavish, a film-maker and member of Sustainable Dunedin City, and Shane Gallagher, who works in the technical support area at the University of Otago, and was a Green Party candidate.

Greater Dunedin head Cr Dave Cull said the group was not setting out to capture every seat on the council, but he did not preclude the possibility of adding "one or two more names".
