What's in a name?

Hawksbury, a small village on the site of the former Cherry Farm psychiatric hospital, rebranded with a historical name for nearby Waikouaiti.

Adding to the blending of place-names, the Evansdale Cheese factory and shop, which is now based at Hawksbury, had its origins at the small settlement of that name at the other end of the Kilmog Hill.
