The annual show gives future brides and grooms in Otago and Southland the opportunity to meet representatives of many businesses as well as gain tips and ideas for their big day, show manager Sandy Jefferies says.
''We're really excited and working hard to make this year's show the best ever. We've secured 82 wedding exhibitors - many more than previous years.''
Allied Press, publisher of the Otago Daily Times, has joined Elegant Wedding Shows Ltd to help promote the show through its daily and community publications and online.
Allied Press commercial manager Matthew Holdridge said after the success of the ODT's Wedding Guide publication, the company was delighted to be working alongside Mrs Jefferies to make this year's show another great event.
Mrs Jefferies said brides and grooms attending the show could win two return flights to any destination in Southeast Asia, courtesy of Singapore Airlines. ''Other exciting prizes bring the total value of the prize pool to over $15,000.''
The show will be held in the Lion Foundation Arena, Edgar Centre, Dunedin on May 26.
