Year Nine mathletics champions

The so-called Otago Girls "C" (Year 9) team came first in the Mathletics Competition held tonight 16/8/2010 in the Town Hall, Dunedin.

Mr Adams, their maths teacher, apparently decided subterfuge would help when it came to team names. Moira Thomson, Calla Knudson-Hollebon, Lily Purdon and Alex Laubscher are seen receiving their certificates in the first photo. They looked very confident beforehand as the second photo shows. 

Everyone went home happy after a great night of problem-solving.
