Divers who died in Hawke's Bay named

Two divers who died in Hawke's Bay yesterday have been named by police.

Whakatu man Raymond John Cooper (45) was the first to get into trouble while diving on the Pourerere Coast, 95km south of Napier. His body was found yesterday.

A second diver who went to his aid also died. He was Roger Francis Nathan, a 44-year-old from Waipukurau.

His body was recovered by the police dive squad this morning.

The men's deaths have been referred to the Coroner.
