A man facing allegations of two kidnappings and one robbery will deny all charges, Christchurch District Court was told today.
Shane Michael Ford Wakefield, 22, of Bexley, Christchurch is charged with robbing a man of two DVD players, a computer, xbox, $100 cash, cellphone, games, DVDs, compact discs, and speakers.
He is also charged with unlawfully detaining two men.
Defence counsel Craig Ruane today told Judge Graeme Noble that the charges would be defended. Wakefield was remanded in custody for a pre-depositions conference on June 26.
Mr Ruane said a bail application would be made during the remand period.
