A lucky Te Awamutu Lotto player will wake up this morning $5.5 million richer.
Lotto's $5.5 million powerball first division prize was last night won by a ticket sold at Kihikihi Bookshop in Te Awamutu.
The prize was made up of $500,000 from first division and $5 million from powerball first division.
A further three Lotto players also won Lotto first division last night, each taking home $500,000.
The tickets were sold at Railway Metro New World in Wellington, Plaza Lotto in Palmerston North and Onerahi Bookshop in Whangareri.
