A motorcyclist is in a serious condition after a car and motorcycle collided in Hamilton this morning.
The crash happened at the intersection of Te Rapa Rd and Ruffell Rd about 10.30am.
Acting shift commander Craig Taylor of Hamilton police told APNZ the motorcyclist had been taken to Waikato Hospital in a serious condition while the other motorist was unharmed.
Police have closed Te Rapa Rd in both directions between McKee St and Kapuni St, with a diversion in place via Maui St.
The serious crash unit was examining the scene.
