New Zealand woman Warriena "Rrie" Wright was allegedly taunted and gasped for air in the seconds before she plunged 14 storeys to her death on the Gold Coast last month.

Australian media have reported court documents filed ahead of a bail application on Monday for Gable Tostee, the man charged with her murder.

Police claim Tostee's phone recorded three hours and 19 minutes of audio, which they will allege demonstrates a man and a woman arguing and struggling.

According to reports on the Australian, not long after the pair met using dating app Tinder, Tostee allegedly told Ms Wright, "I will do what you want, I will be your sex slave."

But soon after, he is allegedly heard saying, "That's enough, you have worn out your welcome, you have to leave," just after 2am.

The newspaper reports Tostee is alleged to have told Ms Wright to leave but not to take any of her belongings, saying, "If you try and pull anything, I'll knock you out, I'll knock you the f*** out."

It says he adds, "This is f***** bullshit. You are lucky I haven't chucked you off my balcony, you goddamn little psycho bitch".

According to 9 News, police will allege that within five minutes the argument intensifies, with the female saying, "I am so sorry", before the male replies, "I don't care".

The documents claim there is a choking sound and a man is heard taunting Ms Wright, before a door slides open as she screams, "No, no, no," and Tostee accuses her of trying to kill him.

Ms Wright is reportedly heard saying, "just let me go home", before Tostee allegedly replies, "I would but you have been a bad girl."

Half a minute after the door shuts, a fading scream can be heard, police say. A phone call is then allegedly made to a lawyer.

The TV channel reported that Tostee would apply for bail on Monday, and his parents had offered $200,000 as surety.
