Rotorua ticket wins $1 million

A lucky Lotto player is $1 million richer after winning Lotto First Division last night.

The winning Lotto ticket was sold at Countdown Rotorua.

This was the second time in as many weeks that a Lotto player from Rotorua has scooped a First Division prize.

A Rotorua family took home a $24.3 million prize with Powerball First Division two weeks ago.

Strike Four was also won last night, and a lucky player in Orewa will take home $120,453.

Powerball was not struck last night and has now jackpotted to $6 million.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning locations should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ ticket-checker app.
