When Russell Crowe decided to auction off a variety of his personal belongings to help fund his divorce, few would guess it would lead to Invercargill hosting some of the most iconic items in the history of New Zealand cricket.
But that's exactly what happened, and now the city is set to be the first home outside of Wellington's Basin Reserve to showcase the items at the temporary home of the New Zealand Cricket Museum.
