A wind farm proposed for a site near Wyndham could be New Zealand’s biggest yet and there are hopes construction will start in 2025.
Contact Energy is in the process of planning the project and company representatives have talked to about 100 residents at a drop-in centre in the Wyndham Community Hall over the past couple of days.
