Police say Christopher Foster owed more than £800,000 after his plastics business, Ulva Ltd., went into liquidation last year.
Police said that CCTV footage taken from Foster's fire-ravaged mansion showed a man resembling Foster carrying a shotgun. Foster's body was found at the house in Maesbrook about 290km northwest of London, next to that of his wife, Jill, who had been shot in the head.
A third body is believed to be that of the couple's 15-year-old daughter, Kirstie, although formal identification has yet to be made.
