On Saturday, October 5th at about 4.30pm we were treated to a spectacular sighting of 14 wood pigeons which alighted on a tree outside our home in Wakari.
This tree is a favourite feeding ground for these birds, but we have never seen so many before at one time. We took some photos through our lounge window, as we felt privileged that they chose us to visit.
